武庫川女子大学文学部に2024年4月、新たに歴史文化学科が誕生します（設置構想中）。

感染症の拡大、少子高齢化、AIの発達、戦争など私たちは今、目まぐるしい変化と不安の時代に生きています。しかし、こうした時代は過去に何度もあり、そのたびに先人は困難を乗り越えてきました。膨大な歴史が堆積するヒストリカルワールドは現代を生き抜くアイデアの宝庫。未来へのヒントは歴史にあるのです。

武庫川女子大学歴史文化学科のフィールドは日本史。重視するのは、貴族や武将など権力者ではなく生活者の軌跡です。女性の感性が育んできた衣食住の側から文化の本質に迫ります。女性と暮らしにフォーカスすると、教科書に載っていない歴史が見えてきます。
 

武庫川女子大学の歴史文化学科の特長は次のとおりです。

新しい歴史文化学科の詳細情報は近日中にホームページに公開予定です。メーンキャラクターの高校生とともに、SNS等でも魅力を発信していきます。

変えようのない史実と向き合うことで得られる探究心、調査力、分析力は幅広い分野で応用が可能です。情報の価値を見分ける力を身に付けたい人、きらりと光るアイデアや企画力を身に付けたい人、夢中になれる「得意」を見つけたい人、地域で活躍できる人材になりたい人、グローバルに活躍し、世界に日本の魅力を届けたい人――。ぜひご注目ください。

 

 

Starting April 2024, a new Department of History and Culture will be established in the Faculty of Letters of Mukogawa Women's University (currently under planning for establishment).

 

We are now living in an era that is fast-changing and uncertain, such as the spread of infectious diseases, an aging society with a declining birthrate, the development of AI, and wars. However, similar occurrences have taken place many times in the past, and each time our predecessors overcame those difficulties. The historical world, where a vast amount of history is deposited, is a treasure house of ideas for surviving in the modern age. The hints for the future can be found in history.

 

The field of the Department of History and Culture at Mukogawa Women's University is Japanese history. The emphasis is not on aristocrats, warlords, or other powerful figures, but on the trajectory of the people of daily life. We approach the essence of culture from the side of food, clothing, and shelter that women's sensibilities have nurtured. Focusing on women and their lifestyles reveals a history not found in textbooks.
