国文学会講演会「わたしたちの言葉から、わたしだけの美学へ」で、作家の日比野コレコさんが日本語日本文学科の学生と座談会を行いました。

文学部日本語日本文学科が主催する武庫川女子大学国文学会(※1)の講演会が10月14日開かれ、作家で現役大学生の日比野コレコさんが登壇し、「わたしたちの言葉から、わたしだけの美学へ」と題して、日本語日本文学科の学生と座談会を行いました。
日比野コレコさんは、2003年奈良県生まれの二十歳で、2022年に「ビューティフルからビューティフルへ」で、第59回文藝賞を受賞。座談会には、小説を書く日本語日本文学科の学生、加藤優希さん（２年生）、吉川碧衣さん(4年生)、樽見野々花さん(4年生)の3人が参加しました。
座談会では、日比野さんのデビュー作品「ビューティフルからビューティフルへ」に登場する、「疾走感のある関西弁」を話し、読者が「あるある」「いるいる」と共感する人物に注目し、それらの根源を探りながら創作することについて解説しました。また、作品とどう向き合っているのか、「ビューティフル」「美」などを創作の中で体現する手法を学生と語り合いました。
また、学生3人が執筆した作品も紹介され、プロの小説家と意見を交え、直接質問を投げかけられる貴重な時間となりました。3人の学生は、自身が執筆した小説を公開したり、現在はまだ未公開や限定公開に留まっていたりと、表現者としての立場はそれぞれですが、読み手との距離感や、インターネット越しの読者に対する感覚の違いなどに話が弾んでいました。
日比野さんは、「講演会を聴きに来てくださった方でまだ小説を読んでいない人にも、小説を読んでいただき、わたしと“対談”してほしいです」と話しました。

Author Koreko Hibino held a panel discussion with students of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at the Kokubun Gakkai Lecture Series "From Our Words to Our Own Aesthetics."
On October 14th, the Mukogawa Women's University Association of Japanese Language and Literature (*1), organized by the Department of Japanese Language and Literature in the School of Letters, hosted a lecture by author and active university student Koreko Hibino, who participated in a discussion with students of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature entitled "From Our Words to Our Own Aesthetics.
At the event, Hibino talked about the "fast-paced Kansai dialect" that appears in her debut work, "From Beautiful to Beautiful," and explained how she focuses on characters that readers identify with and explores the roots of these characters while creating her work. She also discussed with the students how she faces her work and the methods she uses to embody "beautiful" and "beauty" in her creations.
Hibino said, "I hope that those who came to the lecture that are yet to read the novel are now more willing to read it and have a "one on one" with me through the pages.”
