三段跳の日本学生記録保持者・船田茜理さんが、走幅跳で関西学生新記録を樹立しました。

　京都市の「たけびしスタジアム京都」で10月17日に開催された「2023 関西学生陸上競技種目別選手権大会 兼 第45回関西学生混成選手権大会」（主催：関西学生陸上競技連盟）の女子走幅跳で、本学陸上競技部の船田茜理さん（大学院健康・スポーツ科学研究科１年）が６m29の記録を出し、関西学生記録を４年ぶりに更新しました。

 

　船田さんは、本来、三段跳の選手であり、現在、三段跳の日本学生記録保持者ですが、走幅跳でも日本学生トップクラス（2023年日本学生ランキング第2位）の選手であることを示しました。　

　ちなみに、女子走幅跳では本学卒業生の秦澄美鈴選手（2017年卒業）が、今年、6m97の日本新記録を樹立しています。

Akane Funada, a first-year student at the University's Graduate School of Health and Sport Sciences, set a new Kansai student record in the women's long jump at the "2023 Kansai Student Track and Field Championships and the 45th Kansai Student Mixed Championships" (hosted by the Kansai Student Athletic Federation) held on October 17 at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto in Kyoto City, setting a new Kansai student record of 6m29m. This is the first time in four years that a student from Kansai broke the record.

 

　Ms. Funada, originally a triple jumper and the current holder of the Japanese student record in the triple jump, also showed that she is one of the top-class Japanese student athletes in the long jump (No. 2 in the 2023 Japanese student ranking).　

 

　Incidentally, in the women's long jump, our university graduate Haruka Saito (graduated in 2017) set a new Japanese record of 6m97 this year.
