「MUKOJO未来教育プログラム SOAR」の導入講義が行われました。

2022年度よりスタートした「MUKOJO未来教育プログラム SOAR」の導入講義が全新入生を対象に、4月5日、中央キャンパス公江記念講堂で行われました。

 

女性を取り巻く現状や課題を学生たちに知ってほしいと女性活躍総合研究所が主催した本プログラムは、MUKOGAWA COMPASSが掲げる「自ら考え、動く」女性の育成を目指しています。講義冒頭で、女性活躍総合研究所所長を務める高橋享子教授は、"SOAR"は武庫川女子大学独自の基盤教育であることを伝え、「SOARを通し、『気づき』、『自分らしさ』、そして『将来の自分』を考える機会にしてほしい」と呼びかけました。

 

講義は、3人の教授がジェンダー、キャリアデザイン、ライフプランの視点から行いました。教育学部の中村明美教授は、平等と公平の違いを解説し、「今後は公平の視点を取り入れた男女平等が必要」と説きました。経営学部の高橋千枝子教授は、日本のジェンダーギャップ指数が125位と低い点を取り上げた上で、「女性はこう生きるべきという思い込みにとらわれないでほしい」と語りました。また、共通教育部の山本晶子教授は育児休業時の給付金など、女性のライフプランにおける支援制度の存在を学生らに示し「私たちを守ってくれる法律や制度があることを知っておくことが大切」と伝えました。

 

本講義の内容は共通教育科目「SOAR 人生100年をきり拓く力」（全15回）でさらに理解を深めることができます。キャリアセンターでも女性の身体についての提供講座を開くほか、女性活躍総合研究所の関連イベントも開催予定です。

 

The introductory lecture for the MUKOJO Future Education Program SOAR, which started in the 2022 academic year, was held for all freshly enrolled students on April 5th at the Koe Memorial Auditorium on the Main Campus.
 
The program, organized by the Institute for Women's Career Advancement and Gender Equality Development, aims to educate students about the state of affairs surrounding women and the social issues that can affect them, and to nurture women to "think and act on their initiative," which is the goal of MUKOGAWA COMPASS. At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Kyoko Takahashi, Director of the Institute for Women's Career Advancement, explained that SOAR is Mukogawa Women's University's foundation for education and asked the audience to "take this opportunity to think about 'awareness', 'self', and 'future self'" through SOAR.

Three professors gave lectures from the perspectives of gender, career design, and life planning. Akemi Nakamura, a professor in the School of Education, explained the difference between equality and fairness, and stated, "In the future, gender equality must incorporate the perspective of fairness. Professor Chieko Takahashi of the School of Business Management discussed Japan's low gender gap index, which ranks 125th, and urged the audience not to get caught up in the assumption that women should live this way. Professor Akiko Yamamoto of the Department of General Education also showed the students the existence of support systems for women's life plans, such as childcare leave benefits, and told them, "It is important to know that there are laws and systems to protect us.

The content of this lecture can be further understood in the general education course "SOAR: The Power to Pioneer 100 Years of Life" (15 lectures in total).
