薬学科6年の後藤祐佳里さんが、日本薬剤学会永井財団学部学生七つ星薬師奨励賞を受賞しました。

薬学科6年の後藤祐佳里さんが、5月23-25日に神戸国際会議場で開催された日本薬剤学会39年会で、日本薬剤学会永井財団学部学生七つ星薬師奨励賞を受賞しました。発表演題は「トリプルネガティブ乳がん細胞の温度応答性機構の解明と新治療戦略」。本研究では、トリプルネガティブ乳がんの進行には、がん細胞周辺の温度が関与することを明らかにし、その治療に、すでに別の病気に使用されている医薬品が役に立つ可能性を示しました。

 

後藤さんは、卒業研究で薬剤学分野（未来医療創薬イノベーション研究室、指導教員 中瀬朋夏教授）に所属し、乳がんプロジェクトチームの一員として、研究を進めてきました。「受賞し、励みになります。薬学科4年生以降は、実務実習や研究活動を通し、かけがえのない経験を積む中で、薬剤師ができることは何か、考える良い機会になりました。これからも頑張りたい」と話しています。

 

本賞は、(財)永井記念薬学国際交流財団の援助のもと、学部学生の研究発表を奨励するため、卒業研究、実務実習等に関する優れた研究発表（口頭発表・ポスター発表）をおこなう学部学生に対して、審査員による厳正かつ慎重な選考の結果、授与されます。「七つ星薬師」とは、国際薬学連合（FIP）が薬学教育に関する規範GPED（Good Pharmaceutical Education Practice）として示しているThe Seven Star Pharmacist（Care giver, Decision maker, Communicator, Leader, Manager, Life-long learner,Teacher）の日本薬剤学会独自の和訳であり、いわば医療における理想的な薬学職能人を意味します。ちなみに、漢字を使用する国で、日本以外は”薬剤師”でなく”薬師”という用語が使われています。

Yukari Goto, a sixth-year pharmacy student, received the Nagai Foundation Undergraduate Student Seven-Star Pharmacy Encouragement Award from the Japanese Pharmaceutical Society at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Pharmaceutical Society held at the Kobe International Conference Centre from 23^rd to the 25^th of May.

 

Ms. Goto belonged to the Department of Pharmaceutics for her graduation research and was a member of the breast cancer project team. 'I am honored and encouraged by the award. From my fourth year of pharmacy school onwards, through practical training and research activities, I gained invaluable experience, and it was a good opportunity for me to think about what pharmacists can do. I will continue to do my best".

 

This award is presented by the Nagai Memorial Foundation for International Exchange in Pharmacy under the sponsorship of the Nagai Memorial Foundation for International Exchange in Pharmacy to encourage undergraduate students to present their research, and is awarded to undergraduate students who give an excellent research presentation (verbal or poster presentation) on their graduation research or practical training after a strict and careful selection by the judging panel. The 'Seven Star Pharmacist' is the name given by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FIP) to The Seven Star Pharmacist (Care giver, Decision maker, Communicator, Leader, and Manager) as part of its Code of Good Pharmaceutical Education Practice (GPED).
