There are a number of challenging circumstances women must face when encountering the time of their menstruation cycle. A proof-of-concept experiment has been put place by the team of Business Administration to offer those in need of help.

The device, called “Tore Luna” allows the user to be given of the goods once the QR code is read through the application on their smartphones. The devices can be found in 3 locations of the ladies restrooms inside the KM Building.

The product works as almost like a vending machine but with limited use and no fee. There’s a limited number of usage per person, enabling one user to get a hold of one sanitary pad every two hours.

The students of the Department of Business Administration took part in making posters and flyers as well as presenting their project to people of media. A third year student, Ai Onishi states “I hope through this project, women can open up and talk more freely about periods and problems we all face.”
