Mukogawa Women’s University’s team of researchers with their seminar group welcomed people with their innovative activities.

本学では、西宮市の武庫川団地で多文化共生をめざす共同研究を行っています。主に外国人家庭の子どもたちを対象に、学習・健康・芸術・食育・街づくりなど多様な専門性を持つ教員や学生が学部・学科の枠を超えて地域と協働しながら支援活動やリサーチを進めています。
8月6、7の両日、3年ぶりの開催となった武庫川団地の夏祭り「高須フェスティバル」（主催：高須フェスティバル実行委員会、武庫川団地自治会）に研究チームのゼミが参加しました。
7日11時からの昼の部では、教育学科図画工作藤井ゼミ3年チームが「らくがきトラック」を提供し、団地内の森の広場で子どもたちとアートで遊びました。今回は黒板トラックだけでなく、透明のシートを荷台から木々に伸ばし「ジャングル」をイメージしてマーカーで描けるようにしました。透明のシートは「空に描く」という保見団地（外国人の居住率が高い愛知県の団地）での取り組みを参考にしています。今回の参加者の約1割が外国人でした。
また、６、7の両日17時からの夜の部では、食物栄養学科脇本ゼミ3年チームが、模擬店を出展し「いくつ知ってる？世界の料理」と題したゲームと、みかんゼリーの販売を行いました。
「いくつ知ってる？世界の料理」では、子どもたちは代表的な料理の写真を見て、どこの国の料理かを当てるゲームを楽しみ、プレゼントをもらって大喜びでした。
ゼリーの販売は、寒天とゼラチンを使った2種類のゼリーの食べ比べです。配布した食育パンフレットを読みながら、日本のゼリーとヨーロッパのゼリー2種類の食感を比べ、多文化理解につなげたいと企画しました。
それぞれのゼミ生にとって、自分の専門性を発揮して、地域のみなさんと触れ合える、貴重な機会になりました。
“Takasu Festival” is a summer festival held at the Mukogawa Housing Complex for activities mainly targeted for children. A team of 3rd year students from the Department of Education’s, Fujii Seminar of Art and Craft run a “doodle truck” and had fun being creative with children drawing and coloring. For another spot of activity, children were seen drawing on a see through cling film like plastic, with the visualization of “drawing on the sky”.
A group from the Food Sciences and Nutrition Department showcased the knowledge on their field of study by using orange flavored jelly. In the experiment style game, 2 types of jelly were introduced, comparing jelly made of agar and gelatin. Whilst reading the food education leaflet distributed, the comparison of the textures of two types of jelly from Japan and Europe was conducted in order to promote multicultural understanding.
Alternatively, a game of “How many of these cuisines around the world do you know?” in order to win prizes, contestants had to correctly answer the name of the country of a particular cuisine by looking at the pictures.
