武庫川女子大学は2023年度 「秘書技能検定」で 3年連続団体優秀賞を受賞しました。

本学は「秘書技能検定」で2023年度 団体優秀賞を受賞しました。2021年度から3年連続の受賞となります。

また個人でも、溝口いつきさん（英語グローバル学科1年 ※受験時）が、45,000人の受検者の中から成績優秀な55人のみに授与される「個人優秀賞」を受賞しました。

 

「秘書技能検定」は、社会で必要なビジネススキルを身に付け、「表情」「態度」「振る舞い」「言葉遣い」「話し方」などについて学べる資格です。就職活動や大学、社会人生活において、周囲の人への配慮を言葉遣いや行動で表すことのできる有用な資格として、学科・学年問わず、在学中に取得しておくことを推奨しています。

 

2023年度は、学内で開講している「秘書検定2級対策講座」の受講生が、前年より45人増加し、合計141人が受講しました。2023年11月実施試験では、全国平均合格率57.5%に対し、本学の講座受講生の合格率は81.6%と高く、年間を通じ団体として優秀な成績が評価され、3年連続の「団体優秀賞」受賞につながりました。

 

「個人優秀賞」を受賞した溝口さんは、秘書検定での学びが生かされた場面として、ボランティア活動時の体験を挙げ、「電話応対や敬語を使った会話などで秘書検定の学びを生かして、落ち着いて失礼のない対応ができたと感じます」と話しています。

 

秘書検定は年に3回(6月、11月、2月)検定試験が行われており、資格サポート窓口が学内で試験を実施しています。

 

The University received the Group Excellence Award in the Secretarial Skills Test for the fiscal year 2023, the third consecutive year since 2021.

In addition, Ms. Itsuki Mizoguchi, a first-year student in the Department of English and Global Studies (at the time of the examination), received the Individual Excellence Award, which is given to only 55 students out of 45,000 examinees who have achieved outstanding results.
 
The "Secretarial Skills Test" is a certification to acquire business skills necessary in society and to learn about "facial expressions," "attitude," "behavior," "wording," and "speaking style." We recommend that all students, regardless of department or grade, obtain this certificate while still in school, as it is a useful qualification that will enable them to show consideration for those around them through their language and behavior in their job-hunting, university, and working life.

 In FY2023, a total of 141 students, 45 more than the previous year, took the "Secretarial Exam Level 2 Preparation Course" offered on campus, and in the November 2023 exam, the passing rate for students taking the course at the university was 81.6%, compared to the national average passing rate of 57.5%. The award is the third consecutive year that the University has received the "Group Excellence Award" in recognition of its outstanding performance as a group.

Ms. Mizoguchi, who received the Individual Excellence Award, cited her experience as a volunteer activity where she was able to make use of what she learned in the secretarial exam, saying, "I feel that I was able to respond calmly and be cautious of words or phrases that can lead to people feeling offended by using what I learned in the secretarial exam when answering phones and speaking using honorific expressions.”

 The secretarial examinations are held three times a year (June, November, and February), and the Qualification Support Desk administers the examinations on campus.
