令和6年度 卒業記念植樹土寄せ式が行われました。

令和6年度の卒業式を前に、3月14日、公江記念館前もみの木広場で、卒業記念植樹土寄せ式が行われました。
瀬口和義学長、山﨑彰副学長、德重あつ子学生部長と令和5年度総務委員長 栗田千聖さん（食創造科学科）、令和5年度文化部委員長 山下陽菜子さん（日本語日本文学科）、令和6年度総務副委員長 藤田まいさん（短期大学部 食生活学科）が、記念樹として植えられたソメイヨシノに土をかけ、その成長を祈りました。
続いて卒業記念品の贈呈式が公江記念館1階で行われ、栗田元総務委員長からウォータースタンド17台、専用のウォーターボトル、アンブレラ・ドライヤー5台の目録が、瀬口学長に手渡されました。ウォーターボトルは秋頃を目途に新入生に贈呈される予定です。
山﨑副学長は間もなく卒業する4年生に「社会に出れば大変なこともあると思いますが、大学で学んだことを生かして頑張ってください」と激励しました。栗田元総務委員長は「勉強以外のことも含め、大学生活で学んだことを生かして社会に貢献していきたいです」と話しました。
On March 14th, ahead of the graduation ceremony, a commemorative tree-planting ceremony was held at the fir tree plaza in front of the Koe Memorial Hall.
President Seguchi, Vice-President Yamazaki, Dean of Student Affairs Atsuko Tokushige, along with Chisato Kurita (Department of Innovative Food Sciences), the 2023 General Affairs Committee Chairperson, Hinako Yamashita (Department of Japanese Language and Literature), the 2023 Culture Club Committee Chairperson, and Mai Fujita (Department of Dietary Life and Food Sciences, Junior College), the 2024 General Affairs Vice-Chairperson, placed soil around the cherry tree planted as a commemorative tree, praying for its growth.
Following this, a graduation gift presentation ceremony was held on the first floor of the Koe Memorial Hall, where former General Affairs Committee Chairperson Kurita presented President Seguchi with a catalog of 17 water stands, exclusive water bottles, and 5 umbrella dryers.
Vice-President Yamazaki encouraged the soon-to-graduate fourth-year students, saying, 'While the transition to professional life may present unforeseen obstacles, I urge you to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during your university education to overcome these challenges and achieve your aspirations.' Former General Affairs Committee Chairperson Kurita said, 'It is my aspiration to contribute meaningfully to society by leveraging the comprehensive knowledge and skills acquired during my university experience, encompassing both academic and extracurricular domains.’
