September 25th
The final open campus for the fiscal year came to an end on September 26th. The event was held simultaneously at all three campuses in Nishinomiya – Hamakoshien campus, Kamikoshien and the main campus being the center of it all.
The visiting students and guardians were welcomed with performances by the university dance team at the opening ceremony in the Koe Memorial Hall.
The end of open campus indicates the beginning of examination for university admissions. We wish all the luck to the examinees and a big round of applause to the team at admissions center for all their hard work throughout the year.
September 16th, 2022
Digital detox retreat workshop for the students of the Department of Health and Sports Sciences.
Digital detox can be referred to cutting back on the use of technology to recharge, gain perspective, and reevaluate your relationship with digital technology. As a part of their assignment, students in the Murakoshi seminar held a three day retreat at tanrei training center from September 12th to 14th.
September 7th
Students of Mukogawa Women’s University and Junior College Division set off for Mukogawa U.S campus.
Students of Department of English and Department of Careers in English Communication will make their way to MWU’s extended campus in the U.S for the first time in 3 years. All 19 students and staff were reported to have made it out safe on September 6th. They will be staying at the U.S campus until December.
September 1st
Students of Business Administration worked with the university library in producing a booklet.
The collaboration in making a booklet called “MWU Library for SDGs” was done through a PBL (Project Based Learning) assignment.
In making of the booklet, 13 students were divided into 5 groups and were given topics to research and deepen their knowledge on.
Below are the 5 SDGs related themes that were focused on:
- Producing a pathfinder on Fair Trade
Making of posters and flyers dedicated to promotion of SDGs
-Airing LGBT themed movie screenings
- Installing Muji water dispensers in the library café as part of the “water project”
- Creating and distributing bookmarks with the designs of the 17 SDGs themes

As a part of their PBL (Project Based Learning), a group of students along with members of the faculty of the Department of Business Administration’s PR project collaborating with the Nishinomiya Shell Museum came to a close.
The idea of working with the Nishinomiya Shell Museum came up from the students wanting to get more people to know about the services here in the city of Nishinomiya.
