＜日本語/English＞ 日本舞踊部の学生が、全日本きもの装いコンテスト関西大会の学校対抗の部で2位になりました。

Celebrating 2^nd place at All Japan Kimono Dressing Contest – Kansai Tournament.

1月16日に、なら100年会館で開催された「日本の心と美の祭典　全日本きもの装いコンテスト/きものフェスティバル　関西大会」（主催：公益社団法人全日本きものコンサルタント協会）で、日本舞踊部の伊藤留奈さん（日本語日本文学科4年）、服部帆夏さん（英語文化学科4年）、佐子みずきさん（情報メディア学科3年）が学校対抗の部で２位になりました。また、振袖の部に参加した伊藤佳乃さん（日本語日本文学科4年）も入賞となりました。

 

本大会は、今年で50年目となります。日本の美しいきものの着装と礼法を次代に正しく継承するため、さらに世界に伝えるための活動として開催されています。このコンテストでは、鏡を見ずに舞台上で1人でいかに美しく装うかを競います。学校対抗の部でも1人1人が装い、その後に互いに確認し合い整えることのみ許され、3名共に揃った美しい装いを審査されます。
コロナ禍においても各自が練習を欠かさずに続けてきたことで、当日は緊張しながらも日々の練習と努力の成果を十分に発揮することができ、このたびの受賞となりました。

The tournament was held at Nara Centennial Hall on January 16^th, in sponsorship by the All Japan Kimono Consultants Association. The students in the Japanese dance club, Runa Ito, Honoka Hattori and Mizuki Sako, came in second place in the university tournament section.

 

This is the 50^th year for this event since it began. The contest launched its journey to further convey the righteousness and the courtesy of how to of kimono dressing to the world. It also aims to pass on the traditions and the beauty of it to the next generation. In the tournament, how well participants can dress themselves in kimono without the assistance of mirror is assessed. The rule is, each person is given the chance to dress one by one, and after that they’re allowed to review how they dressed, with each other.
