＜日本語/English＞国際協力銀行の職員からサステナビリティへの取り組みについて話を聞き、英語でプレゼンテーションを行いました。

英語文化学科の学生が1月16日、国際協力銀行（JBIC）のサステナビリティ統括部長　矢野裕子さんからサステナビリティへの取り組みをテーマに話を聞き、エネルギー分野の持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）について英語でプレゼンテーションを行いました。

「グローバル化と日本」科目及び国際ビジネス・国際協力ゼミ（細野教授）の学生が参加。矢野さんはJBICのサステナビリティへの取り組みについて、グリーンファイナンスや、諸外国政府・国際機関との連携等について具体例を挙げながら解説。学生と、温室効果ガス削減や水素社会等、様々なテーマについて意見交換しました。

「グローバル化と日本」について学ぶ辻本さんと荻野さんは、エネルギー分野におけるSDGsへの世界の取り組みについて、エネルギー消費や再生可能エネルギーの動向、また、温室効果ガスを削減する新技術に焦点を当てて、英語でプレゼンテーションを行いました。

 

Students of the Department of English attended a talk by Ms. Hiroko Yano, Executive Officer, Director General, Sustainability Management Department, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), and made a presentation in English about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in energy sectors.
On January 16, students of the “Globalization and Japan” class and the International Business / International Cooperation Seminar (Prof. Hosono) exchanged views about various topics, such as greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and hydrogen society.

Ms. Tsujimoto and Ms. Ogino, who study “Globalization and Japan”, made a presentation in English about the global efforts for SDGs in energy sectors, focusing on the trends of energy consumption and renewable energy, as well as the new technologies to reduce GHG.

Ms. Yano explained various concrete examples of JBIC’s efforts for sustainability, such as the green finance as well as the coordinated efforts with foreign governments and international organizations.
