学生が取り組む子ども食堂のサポート活動が5学科と大学院にも広がっています。

尼崎市元浜町の子ども食堂「モコモコ俱楽部」の運営を、2018年から学生たちが学部を超えてサポートしています。今年度からは、さらに大庄北生涯学習プラザの子ども食堂にも参加しています。昨年度まで日本語日本文学科、教育学科、食物栄養学科が中心となって、食事のほか、遊びや勉強のサポートを行ってきましたが、今年度は、社会福祉学科や経営学科、生活環境学科の学生や大学院生も加わり、多様な学生の連携がさらに広がりを見せています。

食物栄養学科の学生がデザインしたピンクのポロシャツも完成。５、６月に行った子ども食堂での活動では、おそろいのポロシャツ姿の学生たちが、サンドイッチやおにぎらずを作ったり、食事まで、思い思いの時間を過ごす子どもたちの様子を見守ったり。子どもたちの「放課後の居場所」がより心地よくなるよう、協力して活動しています。

 

Since 2018, students across departments have been supporting the operation of the children's community service "Mokomoko Club" in Motohama-cho, Amagasaki City.

Until last year, the Department of Japanese Language and Literature, the Department of Education, and the Department of Food and Nutrition took the lead in providing meals as well as support for activities such as playing games and studies. This year, students and graduate students from the Departments of Social Welfare, Business Administration, and Living Environment have also joined the program, further expanding the collaboration among diverse students.

At the club in May and June, students wearing matching polo shirts made sandwiches and onigirizushi (rice cakes) and watched over the children as they spent their free time until they ate their meals. They work together to make the children's "after-school space" more comfortable for them.
