生活環境学科の卒業研究展が1月31日から、中央キャンパス生活環境１・2号館で一般公開されています。

生活環境学科の4年生189人による卒業研究展が、1月31日から中央キャンパス生活環境１・2号館で始まりました。

 

学生が卒業研究としてまとめた論文や制作物を展示。建築・まちづくりからインテリア、アパレルまで学びの分野が幅広い生活環境学科ならではの、多彩な作品がそろっています。教室を展示会場として利用することで、来場者に学生たちの学びの環境も感じ取ってもらえる工夫を凝らしています。

 

研究室や学びの領域別に展示。まず目を引くのはバレエのチュチュやアイドル風の衣装など色鮮やかなファッション。「五感を感じる服」と題した衣装は、「着ることを想定しない服」と明示し、お菓子の入った大量のポケットをつけたり、音が出たり、多様な楽しみ方を示しています。また、「着なくなった服のリメイク」や「古着の汚れを染織で隠す」「服を捨てる前にもう一度、作り変える」など、持続可能性に配慮した提案も見られました。紙製のパッケージに「遊ぶ」機能を持たせ、「捨てられる存在ではなく、人を楽しませる存在」への変換を提案したり、芦屋市の活性化を目指したオリジナル絵本や豊中市のスポーツ振興のため、学生が生み出したキャラクターの展示も。

 

建築模型を使って街や住宅、施設などを提案する展示も多数ありました。生活環境学科4年の岡村美弥子さんは「高齢者施設へのカフェ増設」と題し、CADで制作した内装動画を会場で流しました。「高齢者施設に内外の人が交流できるカフェがあればいいと思い、設計しました。低層階の屋上部分にカフェを作り、外部の人は外の階段から入店して生活部分と切り分けています」。

 

齊藤穂波さんの卒業研究は「地域と共存する商店街のデザイン提案」。近くの「みやこ商店街」をはじめ、大阪・兵庫の4か所の商店街を調査し、「各店の個性が前に出て、空間としての統一感がなく、ゴチャゴチャした印象になっている。ファサードのデザインなどをそろえれば、居心地の良い空間が生まれ、人が集まりやすくなると考えました」と話していました。

 

卒業研究展は一般公開されており、近所の人や在学生の関係者が見ごたえのある展示を一つ一つ熱心に見て回る姿もありました。2月3日まで。10時～16時。土日も公開しています。入場無料。

 

The graduation research exhibition by 189 fourth-year students from the Department of   Human Environmental Sciences began on January 31st at the 1^st and 2^nd Human Environmental Sciences Facility.  

 

The exhibition showcases creations compiled by students as part of their graduation research. With a wide range of study fields from architecture and urban development to interior design and apparel, the Department boasts a diverse collection of works. By using classrooms as exhibition spaces, efforts have been made to allow visitors to experience the students' learning environment.

 

The exhibits are categorized by research lab and area of study. The first thing that catches the eye is the colorful fashion, such as ballet tutus and idol-style costumes. Outfits titled "Clothing that Stimulates the Five Senses" are explicitly described as "clothing not intended for wearing," featuring numerous pockets filled with snacks and producing sounds, demonstrating a variety of ways to enjoy them. Proposals considering sustainability were also seen, such as "remaking clothes that are no longer worn," "hiding stains on used clothes with dyeing and weaving," and "recreating clothes before discarding them."

 

The graduation research exhibition is open to the public, and local residents and relevant parties were seen diligently looking at each of the impressive exhibits. It will be held until February 3rd, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is also open on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free.
