武庫川女子大学甲子園会館では、七夕の笹飾りの短冊に託す願い事をWebで募る「星に願いを@甲子園会館2021」を開催しています。
昨年に続き、2回目の開催となります。甲子園会館の七夕の笹飾りは「夏のチャリティ特別見学会」で実施してきた恒例行事ですが、コロナ禍で見学会が開催できなくなったため、願い事をWebで募ることにしました。
願い事は、甲子園会館ホームページ の応募フォームから送信していただきます。
寄せられた願い事は、甲子園会館の職員が短冊に出力し、笹に飾り付けます。笹には、疫病よけの「アマビエ」のほか、甲子園会館の前身、甲子園ホテルのシンボルである「打出の小槌（うちでのこづち）」や、甲子園会館の建物全体に施されている「水珠（みずたま）」をモチーフにした飾りも一緒につるし、コロナ禍の終息を祈ります。
応募の受け付けは7月5日まで。飾り付けられた笹の写真は、7月7日に甲子園会館ホームページで公開します。

Tanabata is a Japanese Festival celebrated on July 7th, also known as the Star Festival in English. It originates from Chinese legend. It is said that Tanabata is a special day for ones in love because it is the day where people reunite. It’s a custom of people writing their wishes on a piece of paper and hanging them on bamboo trees.
It is being celebrated at Mukogawa Women’s University Koshien Hall online called “Wish for the Stars @ Koshien Hall 2021”.
This year will mark the second time hosting the event online. Each year, the wishes that have been written are displayed in exhibition for people to come visit and see but since last year it’s being done online.
Wishes can be written and posted here. The wishes sent in will be written on the tanzaku (a strip of paper) and be tied up on a bamboo leaf.
The application will be open until July 5th. Photos of your wish will be posted on the HP on July 7th once all wishes have been written on paper, and tied up.
