武庫川女子大学学友会が24日、中央キャンパスで学内献血活動を行い、多くの学生や教職員が協力しました。
学友会による献血活動は、1981年から日本赤十字社と連携して行っているもので、近年は年2回、中央キャンパスと薬学キャンパスの2か所で1週間、実施していました。2020年度はコロナ禍の影響で中止となり、今年も実施が危ぶまれましたが、日数を各キャンパス1日ずつにして、実施に踏み切りました。
まん延防止等重点措置移行後の調整期間にあたり、学生の登学は少なく、広報活動に苦心しました。実施主体の総務委員会ではSNSで全学生に周知し、アンケートに答えた人に渡す景品にも工夫を凝らしたところ、午前10時10分の開始前から学生が集まり、多くの協力が得られました。
総務委員会企画パート長の生活環境学部食物栄養学科3年、吉田智美さんは「兵庫県全体で献血活動が難航していると聞き、輸血を必要とする人のために少しでも力になれたらと思い実施しました。思った以上に学生が来てくれてうれしい」と話していました。
献血活動は25日は薬学キャンパスで実施する予定です。
On the 24th, MWU staff and students partook in blood donation and encouraged people in giving blood. The alumni association has been cooperating with Japanese Red Cross Society since 1981 with blood donation.
Normally, the donation bank would be open for service during a week long period. But due to Covid-19 related issues, the event had to be called off last year. Nevertheless, minimizing the number of dates and location enabled the alumni to go ahead with it this year. The number of students on campus were limited due to restrictions still in place, thus making the PR for the donation a challenge. The general affairs committee used SNS to spread the news and provided goodies to those who participated.
