10月11日は世界中の少女の権利と可能性を促進しようと国連が定めた国際ガールズ・デーです。女性にとって意義あるこの日を女子総合大学として広く啓発しようと、武庫川女子大学は10月10日の朝日新聞朝刊で、入試告知と合わせた全面広告を出しました。
座談会と撮影、学院長インタビューは9月21日から24日にかけて、中央キャンパスで行いました。経営学科、景観建築学科、日本語日本文学科の１、２年生３人が行った座談会では、「起業」や「建築士」「教師」など、それぞれの目標とそれに向かう心意気が、率直な言葉で語られました。3人は初対面ながらすぐに打ち解け、強くうなずきながら互いの話を聞いていました。
また、1年生から４年生までの学生15人が、笑顔の写真で紙面に参加。中庭や公江記念館など背景を変えながら順番に撮影に応じ、落ち着いた様子でカメラマンの指示にこたえていました。

International Day of the Girls is celebrated on October 11 and is dedicated to the development of girls around the world. It was declared by the United Nations to amplify the voices of young girls around the world and increase awareness of issues faced by them.
To promote the cause, Mukogawa Women’s University published a full-page advertisement on October 10th along with the entrance examination announcement. In the run up to the day, meetings among staff and crew, filming models and interviews with the university head master were held from September 21st to the 24th at the main campus.
3 students all from different departments – Business Administration, Landscape Architecture and the Department of Japanese Language and Literature discussed of their dreams and goals. And despite only having met there and then, they spoke of their passions and listened to each other earnestly.
In addition, total of 15 students joined in on a photoshoot all around the campus.
