＜日本語/English＞☆速報☆英語文化学科3年の香川友里絵さんが、全国規模の英語弁論大会で2日間続けて準優勝を果たしました！

☆ Breaking News ☆ A third year Department of English Culture student, Yurie Kagawa was a runner-up at national English speech contest.

10月23日、オンラインで行われた「第９回 活水女子大学　エリザベス・ラッセル杯　英語スピーチコンテスト」の本選決勝大会で、本学の香川友里絵さん（英語文化学科3年）が、準優勝を獲得しました。

また、10月24日、慶應義塾大学日吉キャンパスで開催された「第４５回 福澤杯争奪　全日本学生英語弁論大会」の本選決勝大会で、同じく香川友里絵さんが、準優勝を果たしました。　大会twitterはコチラ

いずれも全国規模の大会で、特に「福澤杯」は日本３大大会として全国のトップスピーカーが競う大会として認知されています。

 

On the 23^rd of October, Ms. Kagawa participated in The Ninth Kwassui Women’s University Elizabeth Russell Cup English Speech Contest which was held online and won second place.

 

The following day, on the 24^th she won the runner-up at the finals of the “45^th Fukuzawa Cup Contest – All Japan Student English Speech Contest held at Hiyoshi campus on Keio University click here.

 

All the competitions above are nationwide, and in particular, the “Fukuwaza Cup” is recognized as one of the three major competitions in Japan where top speakers from all over the country compete.
