武庫川女子大学学友会が9日中央キャンパスで学内献血活動を行い、多くの学生や教職員が協力しました。

 

学友会による献血活動は、1981年から日本赤十字社と連携して行っているもので、近年は年2回、中央キャンパスと薬学キャンパスの2か所で1週間、実施していました。2020年度はコロナ禍の影響ですべて中止となりましたが、本年度は6月に日数を各キャンパス1日ずつにして実施しました。本年度2回目の献血活動として、今日9日は中央キャンパスにて、明日10日は薬学キャンパスで行います。

 

献血の受付をした学生からは「時間があれば、通学で通る梅田でもよく献血をしています。今日は初めて献血する友達を誘って来ました」「テストで登学したついでに献血に来ました」「以前は事前検査の判定で献血できなかったので、今日は献血のリベンジ、再挑戦で来ました」などの声が聞かれました。

 総務委員会企画パート長の吉田智美さん（生活環境学部食物栄養学科3年）は「前回より対面授業も増え、足を運んでもらいやすくなってよかったです。大学は勉強するだけでなく、いろいろな経験ができる場所だと思います。献血の活動は今後も継続し、武庫女1万人の学生パワーで困っている方を助けていきたいです」と話し、総務委員長の中嶋真唯さん（生活環境学部情報メディア学科3年）は「ファストパスを利用して事前に予約いただいた方も多くいました。お忙しい中協力していただいて本当にありがたいです」と話していました。

 

明日10日は、薬学キャンパスで12時50分から17時の間、薬学キャンパスで行われる予定です。

 

At the main campus on November 9^th, among the students, faculty members were also seen giving blood at the blood donation truck.

 

The blood donation activities by the alumni association was established in collaboration with the Red Cross Society back in 1981. Right up until Covid-19 struck, the donation was held twice a year both at the main campus and at the pharmacy campus, for a length of a week. This June, though the number of dates were cut down, they were back open for business. As the second round of blood donation period of the year, we welcome people wanting to donate at the main campus on the 9^th, and then on 10^th at the pharmacy campus.

 

One student said “I brought with me a friend who’s never done blood donation before. I go when I have time, especially in locations like Umeda where I normally commute through.” Another added “I was on campus, taking an exam so I came during my free period” and “unfortunately I couldn’t take part in the last donation, so I made sure to come to this one.”

 

A third year student, Tomomi Yoshida who is in the planning committee, stated “we’re seeing more people back on campus, meaning it’s easier for them to step foot on to the blood bank too. Being at university, it doesn’t necessarily mean we have to be studying all the time, it’s a place where there’s so much to see and experience. I’d like to continue to support and raise awareness of blood donation to help those in need and would love the support from the 10,000 students at Mukogawa Women’s University. Another student, who is the head of the committee, “we saw a large number of people utilizing the reserving a slot via fast passes. We’re really grateful to all those who came despite their busy schedule.”
