＜日本語/English＞ 第76回全日本体操種目別選手権（ゆか）で、杉原愛子選手が銀メダルを獲得しました。

MWU’s gymnast Ms. Aiko Sugihara won a silver medal at the 76^th All Japan Gymnastics Championships.

　第76回全日本体操種目別選手権が6月18日から19日まで東京体育館で開催され、本学体操部の杉原愛子選手（短期大学部健康・スポーツ学科2年）がゆかで銀メダルを獲得しました。

 

　以下、杉原愛子選手のコメントです。

 

　「応援ありがとうございました。競技生活『一区切り』とした今大会では、杉原愛子らしい楽しい体操で観客の皆さんを魅了できたと思います。そして、銀メダルを獲得することができ、嬉しい気持ちです。オリンピックをはじめ、学院の多大なるご支援・ご声援にあらためて感謝申し上げます。今後は、トレーニングを継続しながらも、監督の指導の元、コーチとしての勉強をスタートし、体操部の競技力向上に貢献していきたいと思います。今後とも応援よろしくお願いいたします。　杉原愛子　」

The championship was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium from June 18^th to the 19^th where MMs. Sugihara won silver with her performance in floor exercise.

“First of all, thank you for your words of encouragement and endless support. I’d like to believe that I was able to entertain the audience with my particular moves that embodies who I am. My journey has been ongoing since the Tokyo Olympics and with the great support from my team and the university, I’m happy to be able to honor them with this silver medal. For the future prospects, I’d like to continue performing as a gymnast whilst thinking about learning how to coach under the guidance of the head coach.”
