The Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition students at an internship with the Kobe Central Wholesale Market.

食物栄養科学部食創造科学科の学生3年生4人が、神戸市中央卸売市場 本場のインターンシップに10月3日から5日間、参加しました。

 

神戸市中央卸売市場 本場と本学食創造科学科は、2021年3月に事業連携協定を締結しました。参加した学生は早朝から水産や青果のせり見学、水産仲卸店舗の業務体験、食品衛生検査所での実習、西部市場を含む施設見学、その他市場内の事業者などの役割について学びました。

　

同学科では「インターンシップ」の授業で、履修内容に沿って学生一人当たり企業2社のインターンシップに参加します。食産業に関するさまざまな施設を見学し、多種多様な業務を実地で知ることで、自己の適性や将来設計について考え、学習・研究への意欲を高め、産官学連携による即戦力を育成しています。

 

A handful of third-year students took part as interns at the Kobe Central Wholesale Market for five day period from October 3^rd. The tasks the students were involved in included from learning about the roles of business operators in the market, observing the auctioning of products, doing practical training at a food sanitation inspection to visiting western market facilities.

 

Mukogawa Women’s University’s Faculty of Innovative Food Sciences and Kobe Central Wholesale signed a partnership agreement in March 2021.

 

The Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition offers internship classes where each student participates in two company internships according to the content of the course.
