＜日本語/English＞ 競技スキー部の藤木日菜さんが「モーグルＡ級白馬大会」にて２戦連続で優勝しました。

長野県白馬乗鞍温泉スキー場で2月11、12日に行われた「2023サンガリア白馬乗鞍埼玉県モーグル選手権大会」（主催：公益財団法人全日本スキー連盟）で、競技スキー部の藤木日菜さん（健康・スポーツ科学科３年）が第１戦、第２戦ともに優勝しました。

この大会は、国際スキー連盟Ａ級大会として開催され、全日本ランキングのトップの選手のみが出場できる大会です。この活躍によって、藤木さんは次に発表される全日本スキー連盟のポイントリスト（ランキング）において、最上位になる可能性が高まりました。

藤木さんは「オフシーズンに練習してきた高難度のエアーを使い優勝することができ、大きな自信に繋がりました。練習では何度も失敗しましたが、諦めずチャレンジすることの大切さを実感しました。今シーズンの目標である全日本選手権優勝に向けてしっかりと練習に取り組みます」と話しています。

 

Hina Fujiki of the Competitive Ski Team won the "Mogul A Class Hakuba Competition" for the second consecutive year.

 

Hina Fujiki (a third year of Health and Sports Science) of the Competitive Ski Team won both the first and second rounds of the "2023 Sangaria Hakuba Norikura Saitama Prefecture Mogul Championships" (hosted by the All Japan Ski Federation) held on February 11th and 12th at the Hakuba Norikura Onsen ski resort in Nagano Prefecture.

 

This event is held as an International Ski Federation Class A event, and only the top ranked athletes in the All-Japan ranking are allowed to compete. With this performance, Fujiki's chances of being at the top of the All-Japan Ski Federation's point list (ranking), which will be announced next, have risen.

 

Mr. Fujiki commented, "I was able to win the competition using the challenging airs that I have been practicing in the off-season, which gave me a lot of confidence. I made a lot of unsuccessful attempts in practice, but I have learned how important it is to keep trying and never give up. I will continue to practice hard to achieve my goal of winning the All-Japan Championships this season."
