The students analyzed customer satisfaction surveys conducted by Hanshin Electric Railway to date. They also answered the satisfaction survey as if they were the customers themselves. Based on the results of their comparisons of these data, they proposed measures to improve Hanshin Electric Railway's loyalty from various perspectives, including measures using social media, installation of platform doors and community development.

A student who completed her presentation commented: “This was my first time working on this kind of survey and issue, so I started out not knowing what to expect, but I felt a sense of achievement because I was able to make a proposal to Hanshin Electric Railway after organizing, analyzing and considering the data thoroughly. It was interesting to learn that the senses that what students take for granted differ from generation to generation."
