武庫川女子大学は第27回全国高校女子硬式野球選手権大会の大会パートナーとして、女子高校野球を応援しています。7月29日に丹波市で行われた準決勝で神戸弘陵高校と岐阜第一高校が勝ち上がり、いよいよ8月1日、阪神甲子園球場で決勝戦が行われます。本学は同大会が史上初めて甲子園球場で決勝戦を行った2021年以来、毎年、テレビ中継の協賛や新聞の女子野球特集に広告を出すなど、大会を側面から支えてきました。過去2年の新聞広告は一人の女子高校生(モデルは在学生)が、バッターやピッチャーに扮したビジュアルを全面に出し、「あなたたちはどんな歴史を見せてくれるんだろう」(2021年)、「なりたいわたしに、天井なんか、ない」(2022年)と、メッセージを発信していました。
3年目の今年は、12学部の多様な学びを12学部それぞれの学生12人で表現。大谷翔平選手の「二刀流」にちなんで「むこじょの学びは三刀流」をメインコピーとし、投げる(世界に投じる)・打つ(社会に打って出る)・走る(未来へ走り出す)の3つの動作を、グローブやバットなどを手にした学生が全力で表現しました。
撮影は学内で一人ずつ行いました。文学部3年の学生は現役の野球部員。グローブを高く掲げ、カメラの前で軽やかにジャンピングキャッチを表現しました。建築学部3年の学生は作業着姿でバットを垂直に構えるイチローポーズ。音楽学部4年の学生は濃紺のドレス姿でピッチャーを演じ、薬学部1年の学生は白衣姿でボールをキャッチ。教育学部3年の学生はプロテクターとマスクでキャッチャーに扮しました。昨年までモデルを務めた社会情報学部の学生(3年)も参加。金属バットを手にフルスイングを決めています。
7月18日の朝日新聞朝刊スポーツ面で女子高校野球大会の特集に合わせ、全国版に掲出しました。広告を見た読者調査(首都圏)では「学生の頑張っている姿がとてもいい」「多彩さと主体性を感じる」「タイムリー」「大学の魅力が伝わる」など好意的な声が多く寄せられました。
この広告は8月6日から始まる全国高校野球選手権大会の期間中、球場内の特設ラック(7か所)と甲子園歴史館、最寄りの商業施設「コロワ」、全出場高校とその宿舎等で無料配布される別刷り紙面「夏の甲子園朝日新聞特別ガイド」(20万部)にも掲出されます。

The ad was posted on the national edition of the Asahi Shimbun's morning sports page on July 18 in conjunction with a special feature on the Women's High School Baseball Tournament. In a survey of readers (in the Tokyo metropolitan area) who saw the ad, many favorable comments were received, such as "It is very nice to see students working hard," "It shows versatility and initiative," "It is timely," and "It conveys the appeal of the university."
During the National High School Baseball Championship Tournament, which begins on August 6, this ad will also appear in the "Summer Koshien Asahi Shimbun Special Guide" (200,000 copies), a separate print publication distributed free of charge at seven special racks in the stadium, the Koshien History Museum, the nearest commercial facility "Korowa," and at all participating high schools and their dormitories.
