新体操部の鈴木菜巴さんが第76回全日本新体操選手権大会で、個人総合3位になりました。

10月27日から29日に東京都調布市で行われた「第76回全日本新体操選手権大会」（主催：日本体操協会）で、新体操部の鈴木菜巴さん（健康・スポーツ科学科１年）が個人総合で3位、種目別ではフープ2位、ボール優勝、クラブ3位、リボン優勝を果たしました。本学の新体操部で、全日本選手権でのメダル獲得は初めての快挙となります。

 

団体競技では、増山萌果さん（健康・スポーツ科学科４年）、堺ひまりさん（健康・スポーツ科学科４年）、押切春菜さん（健康・スポーツ科学科２年）、雲井萌さん（健康・スポーツ科学科２年）、福原一葉さん（健康・スポーツ科学科１年）の計５名が出場し、リボンとボール種目で7位入賞を果たしました。

 

各選手のコメントは、以下のとおりです。

 

鈴木菜巴さん「応援ありがとうございました。たくさんの声援が力になり、種目別では自分らしい演技が出来ました。これからも成長し続けられるよう、来シーズンに向けて練習に励んでいきます」

 

団体競技キャプテン 増山萌果さん「多くの方々の支えがあったからこそ、このチームで今できる精一杯の演技をすることが出来ました。このメンバーで1年間取り組み、上手くいかず悩んだこともありましたが、今回の全日本では結果以上に得るものがあり、たくさんの経験をさせてもらったことに感謝しています。来年も部員一丸となり、挑戦していきたいと思います」

 

 

Rhythmic Gymnastics Club member Naruha Suzuki placed third in the individual all-around at the 76th All-Japan Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.

 

At the 76th All-Japan Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Chofu City, Tokyo from October 27 to 29 (hosted by the Japan Gymnastics Association), Rhythmic Gymnastics Club member Naruha Suzuki (1st year, Health and Sports Science) placed third in the individual all-around. This is the first time for the university's Rhythmic Gymnastics Club to win a medal at the All-Japan Championships.

 

 In the team competition, five members participated: Moeka Masuyama (4th year, Health and Sports Science), Himari Sakai (4th year, Health and Sports Science), Haruna Oshikiri (2nd year, Health and Sports Science), Moe Kumoi (2nd year, Health and Sports Science), Ichiha Fukuhara (1st year, Health and Sports Science), who placed 7th in the ribbon and ball events.

 

 Comments from each athlete are as follows;

 

 Naruha Suzuki: "Thank you all so much for your support. Your encouragement gave me a lot of strength, and I was able to perform as I wanted to in the event competitions. I will continue to practice hard for the next season so that I can continue to grow."

 

 Captain of the team competition, Ms. Moka Masuyama: "Thanks to the support of so many people, I was able to perform to the best of my ability with this team. We have been working with this team for a year, and although there were times when things did not go our way, we were able to achieve not only good results but something meanigful too, and I am thankful for the many experiences we had. I am grateful for the many experiences we gained from this year's All-Japan competition. We will continue to unite as a team and take on new challenges next year.”
