社会情報学部の数理・データサイエンス・ＡＩ教育プログラムが文部科学省「数理・データサイエンス・ＡＩ教育プログラム（応用基礎レベル）」に認定

武庫川女子大学・短期大学部では2021年度後期から「データリテラシー・ＡＩの基礎」を共通教育の全学必修科目として導入し、既に文部科学省「数理・データサイエンス・ＡＩ教育プログラム（リテラシーレベル）の認定を受けていますが、この度、社会情報学部における数理・データサイエンス・ＡＩ教育プログラムが文部科学省「数理・データサイエンス・ＡＩ教育プログラム（応用基礎レベル）」に認定されました。

 

30年以上続いている情報化の時代はいま激しく進化しています。コンピュータとネットワークの性能がある閾値を超えたため、膨大なデータを処理できるようになり、統計の精度が上がりました。人工知能（ＡＩ）も同様に、人間の思考方法を模倣するのではなく、情報の確率的接続をもとに言語や画像・映像を操るようになっています。本プログラムは、変革期において社会に大きな影響を与える統計数理の考え方と技術動向の概要を的確に捉える内容となっており、社会情報学部の学生はカリキュラムを通じて身につけることができます。

 Mukogawa Women's University and Junior College introduced 'Fundamentals of Data Literacy and AI' as a mandatory general education course for all students in the latter half of the 2021 academic year. This course has already been certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a 'Mathematics, Data Science, and AI Education Program (Literacy Level).' ¹ Now, the Department of Social Informatics has been further certified for its 'Mathematics, Data Science, and AI Education Program' at the 'Applied Basic Level' by the same ministry.  

 

The era of information, which has continued for over 30 years, is now evolving rapidly. As computer and network performance has exceeded certain thresholds, it has become possible to process vast amounts of data, and the accuracy of statistics has improved. Similarly, artificial intelligence (AI) no longer merely imitates human thought processes but manipulates language, images, and videos based on probabilistic connections of information. This program accurately captures the concepts and trends of statistical mathematics, which have a significant impact on society in this period of transformation, and students in the Department of Social Informatics can acquire these skills through the curriculum.
