浜甲子園キャンパスで環境共生学部新棟の地鎮祭が行われました。

環境共生学部環境共生学科の新しい学舎が浜甲子園キャンパスに新築されることに先立ち、9月12日、地鎮祭が行われました。

 

建設予定地は総合薬学教育研究棟の西側。2階建てで中央に吹き抜けのプレゼンホールを配置予定。仕切りのないオープンなスペースのため、学生らは自由度の高い空間で学ぶことができます。

環境共生学科で1年後期から継続的に実施する実践型社会連携プロジェクト専用のプロジェクトルームとなる予定です。学生らがフィールドワークなどで得た問いを持ち帰り、複数のチームに分かれてプロジェクトに取り組める場所となります。

内外装材には木材や自然の素材を積極的に活用し、カーボンニュートラルにも貢献。自由に出入りできるワークテラス、屋上緑化など、自然とのつながりを感じられる建物となります。

 

地鎮祭は新棟が建つ敷地でとりおこなわれ、大河原量学院長や瀬口和義学長、環境共生学部環境共生学科長就任予定の來海徹太郎教授らが参列しました。新棟は来年8月31日竣工予定。

 

Ahead of the construction of a new building for the Department of Environment and Sustainability, School of Environment and Sustainability, on the Hama Koshien Campus, a ground-breaking ceremony was held on September 12.

 

The building is planned to be a dedicated project room for the project based learning programs that the Department of Environment and Sustainability has been conducting continuously since the second semester of the first year. It will be a place where students are able to find answers to the challenges they discovered through fieldwork and work on projects in multiple teams.

 

Wood and natural materials will actively be used for interior and exterior materials, contributing to carbon neutrality. The building will have an easily accessible work terrace and a rooftop greening area, allowing people to feel connected to nature.

 

The ground-breaking ceremony was held at the site where the new building will be constructed, and was attended by President Ryō Ōkawara, President Kazuyoshi Seguchi, and Professor Tetsutaro Kimachi, who is scheduled to become the head of the Department of Environment and Sustainability. The new building is scheduled for completion on August 31st of next year.
