競技スキー部の藤木日菜さんがモーグル世界選手権の日本代表枠を獲得！冬季競技の世界選手権出場は本学初の快挙です。

「2024/2025モーグル・ワールドカップ（W杯）」に出場中の競技スキー部の藤木日菜さん（大学院健康・スポーツ科学研究科１年）が、2025年3月18日～21日にスイス・エンガディンで開催される世界選手権の日本代表枠を獲得。3月3日に全日本スキー連盟からフリースタイルの世界選手権日本代表として選出されました。

藤木さんはヨーロッパ、北米、中国等で開催中の世界ツアー「モーグル・ワールドカップ」に日本スキー連盟から派遣されています。2024年11月のジョージア・バクリアニ大会において初の決勝進出を果たすと、2025年年明けから北米シリーズのアメリカ・ウォータービル大会、カナダ・バルサンコム大会、アメリカ・ディアバレー大会、続くアジアシリーズの中国・北大湖大会でも連続して決勝に進出しました。

これらの成績により、世界選手権のモーグル・フリースタイルの日本代表に選出されました。武庫川学院のアスリートとして、冬季競技の世界選手権出場は”初”の快挙です。日本代表にはほかにトヨタ自動車の堀島行真さん、多摩大学スキークラブの冨高日向子さんらが選出されています。

藤木さんは海外遠征の合間をぬって、一時帰国した際にはスポーツセンター主催「アスリートセミナー2024」（2月17日）にも登壇して、競技活動と大学院での研究の両立についての自身の経験から後輩にメッセージを送りました。

 

Hina Fujiki (1st year, Graduate School of Health and Sports Science), a member of the competitive skiing team currently participating in the "2024/2025 Mogul World Cup (WC)," has secured a spot to represent Japan at the World Championships held in Engadin, Switzerland, from March 18th to 21st, 2025. She was selected as a member of the Japanese national freestyle team by the Ski Association of Japan on March 3rd.

 

Fujiki has been dispatched by the Ski Association of Japan to the "Mogul World Cup," a world tour held in Europe, North America, China, and other locations. ¹ After achieving her first finals appearance at the Bakuriani, Georgia event in November 2024, she consistently advanced to the finals in the North American series at the Waterville, USA, Val Saint-Côme, Canada, and Deer Valley, USA events, followed by the Asian series at the Beida Lake, China event.   

 

These results led to her selection as a member of the Japanese national team for the Mogul Freestyle World Championships. As an athlete from Mukogawa Women’s University, this is the "first" remarkable achievement of participating in a Winter World Championship.
