交換留学生の歓迎会が、生活環境学科中庭『チカフェ』で開催されました。

2025年度後期から、交換留学生として生活環境学科に在籍しているヤカブ・フランシスカさん（オーストラリア・クイーンズランド工科大学）の歓迎会が開催されました。

歓迎会は、生活環境学科の学生が中心となり、フランシスカさんと日本人学生との交流機会を創出するとともに、2024年度に多田ゼミを中心に始まった空間活用プロジェクト『チカフェ』をさらに盛り上げることを目的として、学科の中庭を活用した「流しそうめん」が行われました。当日は非常に多くの学生が参加し、流しそうめんを楽しみながら、フランシスカさんの専攻であるファッションの話で大いに盛り上がり、友好を深めました。

フランシスカさんは、「素麺をつかむのが少し難しいけれど、とても美味しかったです」と初めての流しそうめん体験を楽しんでいた様子でした。


A welcome party was held for Ms. Jakab  from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, who has joined the Department of Human Environmental Sciences as an exchange student from the 2025 fall semester.

Organized mainly by students of the department, the event aimed not only to provide an opportunity for Franciska to interact with students of Mukogawa Women’s University but also to further enliven Chicafé, a space-use project launched in 2024 by Professor Tada’s seminar group. As part of the celebration, a “nagashi-sōmen” (noodles flowing down on a bamboo stick) event was held at the venue. The gathering drew a large number of students, who enjoyed catching noodles while enthusiastically chatting with Franciska about her major, interests, and deepening friendships in the process.

Franciska smiled as she shared her impressions of the experience: “It was a little challenging to catch the noodles, but they tasted wonderful!”
