＜日本語/English＞ 大学入学式が中央キャンパスで行われ、2563人が学生生活をスタートしました。

The entrance ceremony for this fiscal year welcomed 2563 students starting a new chapter at Mukogawa Women’s University.

2022年度の武庫川女子大学の入学式が4日に引き続き、4月５日、中央キャンパスの公江記念講堂で行われました。５日は午前中、教育学部、健康・スポーツ科学部、音楽学部、薬学部の４学部、午後は文学部、建築学部、看護学部の３学部の新入学生が式に臨みました。2022年度の新入生は短大、大学合わせて2563人です。入学式の模様はオンラインで関係者に限定配信されました。

式ではまず、瀬口和義学長が入学許可宣言をして、新入生を迎え入れました。瀬口学長は式辞で、企業や他大学との多様なコラボレーションにより学びの場が学内外に広がっていることを紹介し、「経験は皆さんを鍛え、社会に目を開きます。勇気をもって一歩踏み出し、新しい未来に挑戦してください」と学生たちを激励しました。

 

午前の部では、新入生代表の健康・スポーツ科学部健康・スポーツ科学科　池田琴音さんが宣誓し、音楽学部演奏学科の平郡若奈さんが代表して記章を受け取りました。午後の部では、新入生代表の文学部心理・社会福祉学科　中川仁愛さんが宣誓を行い、看護学部看護学科の山本弓穂さんが代表して記章を授与されました。在学生代表の総務委員会委員長　山口朝陽さん（文学部日本語日本文学科3年）は、挑戦し続けることの大切さを語り、「寄り道も脇道も回り道も、決して無駄にはなりません。失敗を恐れず目標に向かって精一杯走ってみましょう」と呼びかけ、後輩たちを歓迎しました。

 

公江記念講堂や中庭には学生たちのアイデアで写真撮影ができるフラワーウオールやバルーンアートが飾られ、満開の桜とともに、祝福ムードを盛り上げました。新入生たちは桜の下で互いに写真を撮りあったり、クラスメイトと連絡先を交換しあったり。正門や西門に設置された「入学式」の看板は書道部が手がけ、式で流れる学院歌のコーラス音源は音楽学部の学生たちが吹き込むなど、学生たちの力が随所に生かされた入学式となりました。

 

また、今年度から入学式後のオリエンテーションで、ジェンダーとセクシュアリティの理解や女性のキャリアデザイン、ライフプランを考える導入講義を全新入生に対し、実施します。女性活躍総合研究所が2022年度から始める「ＭＵＫＯＪＯ未来教育プログラムＳＯＡＲ」の一環。今年度は4月6日、7日に4回に分けて行います。

The opening ceremony of Mukogawa Women’s University and the junior college was held at main campus at Koe Memorial Hall on April 4^th. With the two combined, MWU welcomed 2563 students to the family. With the restrictions of the spread of Coronavirus disease, the ceremony saw the hall filled with students while their guardians were given a permitted live air stream online.

 

The university opening ceremonies will be conducted in 4 sittings, in the course of 2 days. With large number of departments Mukogawa Women’s University has to offer, a selection of departments will have a joint ceremony in the morning or the afternoon.

 

As part of festivity, picturesque decorations such as wall of flowers and balloon art were seen on main campus. The ideas of said activities were thought of students themselves with the support and guidance from faculty staff at Student Affairs. This activity of celebration along with the full bloom of cherry blossoms all across the main campus were a certain signal of joyous and a blessing of an occasion. The students were seen taking photographs of each other under the cherry blossom trees and exchanging contact details with friends they’d just made on the day.

 

At the orientation briefing, from this year onwards an introductory lecture on understanding gender and sexuality and such has been introduced. As a part of the “MUKOJO Future Education Program SOAR” has been implemented by the Research Institute for Women’s Advancement from this year onwards.
