<日本語/English> 英語チャレンジコースの第一学期が間もなく終了します。

First term classes coming to a close at General Education’s Challenge Course.

Japanese below.

At Mukogawa Women’s University, General Education courses are offered as part of the curriculum to strengthen the development of student learning. The course provides communicative classes for 2nd to 4th year students with selective number of students per class, all catered for interactive learning. The objective of the course is centered towards improvement of English ability, fundamental communication skills and social awareness and development for the future.

The students are monitored throughout their learning on 6 key criteria, motivation, contribution, reliability, potential, communication and development.

Every Monday, all 3 classes are taught simultaneously in classrooms next to one and another, making it inviting for students to interact with each other across grades.  July 25th saw the end to the first term classes, with one class making presentations in front of their peers and professor. The students are assigned topics of their choice to present and to provide a question of thought for the listeners on how they feel and create a space for discussion.

This year celebrates 9th year of Challenge Course since its establishment. The course carries its legacy of empowering students with the tools and skills that they can carry through to their adulthood.
