＜日本語/English＞武庫川女子大学の学生が参加する「第5回武庫女スマイルフェス」をららぽーと甲子園で開催。3年ぶりに対面イベントが復活しました。

「第5回武庫女スマイルフェス」が18日、ららぽーと甲子園で始まりました。19日まで。「武庫女スマイルフェス」は武庫川女子大学の取り組みを地域の人に知ってもらおうと、三井ショッピングパーク「ららぽーと甲子園」と合同で毎年行っており、今年で5回目となります。コロナ禍の影響で一昨年と昨年はWebと展示での開催でしたが、今年はWeb（2月1日～3月31日）と展示に加え、３年ぶりに対面イベントが復活。各ブースに学生が立ち、ワークショップなど参加型イベントを行い、親子連れなどでにぎわいました。

 

ゼミやボランティア団体など15団体が参加。Web展示で参加の「re:creation 2022-23」を除く14団体が、ショッピングモール１、２階東側のイベントスペースでパネル展示やワークショップを行いました。

 

薬学部健康生命薬科学科の化粧品科学研究室は、ゼミで開発したハンドクリーム「MUKOJOismうるおいパッククリーム」を使って学生が来場者にハンドマッサージを実施。買い物ついでに立ち寄った女性は「乾燥肌が悩みですが、マッサージしてもらうと肌がしっとりして爪までピカピカになり癒されました」と笑顔で話していました。生活環境学科被服文化学研究室のゼミ生は、学内で集めた古着を再利用して小物を作る体験型ブースを運営しました。参加者は古着の袖を筒状にしたものを、リボンやビーズで思い思いに飾り付け、オリジナルのペットボトルケースを作りました。小学2年の女児に付き添っていた母親は「初めて参加しましたが、学生さんたちと接するのは新鮮でいい機会になりました」と話していました。

 

このほか、情報メディア学科の平井ゼミは兵庫県産のはちみつを使った石鹸づくりのワークショップを実施。榎並ゼミはオリジナルのアイドルを主人公にした脱出ゲームと連動した展示ブースを開設しました。脱出ゲームはポスターや映像から出題されるクイズに4問正解するとお菓子がもらえるとあって、子どもたちが次々挑戦し、クリアしていました。「ひょうご理系女子未来塾」では、子どもたちが水と油に色を加えたマーブルしおり作りなどを通して身近な科学を体験しました。

 

展示では、経営学科の実践学習で取り組んでいる「Ｚ世代女子の為のインナーウェア」の開発過程の紹介、建築学科の原寸大の紙管の茶室や図面、植物と建築が一体となったデモンストレーションガーデン模型の展示など、各学科が日ごろの学びを発表したほか、玄米の普及を通して国連WFPの活動を推進する「ブラウンライスボランティア」や、学生広報スタッフ「La chouette*」の「女性が輝く取り組みについて」など学生ボランティアによる展示も。ブラウンライスボランティアはトルコ・シリアで起きた大地震や戦争が続くウクライナへの支援を呼びかける募金活動にも取り組みました。

 

19日は引き続き展示とイベントを実施するほか、音楽学部の「浜甲カンタービレ」が音楽イベントを実施します。

Mukogawa Women's University students participated in the 5th Mukogawa Women's Smile Festival at Lalaport Koshien, marking the return of the in-person event after a three-year absence.

 

The 5th Mukojo Smile Festival opened at LaLaport Koshien on the 18th and will run until the 19th. Mukojo Smile Fest is held jointly with Mitsui Shopping Park "LaLaport Koshien" every year to showcase to the community about Mukogawa Women's University's activities, and this year will be the 5th time. Due to the pandemic, the year before last and last year the event was held only on the web and as an exhibition, but this year, in addition to the web (February 1 through March 31) and exhibition, the face-to-face event is back for the first time in three years. Students stood at each booth and held workshops and other participatory events, which drew crowds of parents and children.

The Cosmetic Science Laboratory of the Department of Health and Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences offered hand massages to visitors using "MUKOJOism Moisture Pack Cream," a hand cream developed by the students in their seminar. A woman who stopped by while shopping said, "I suffer from dry skin, but the massage left my skin moist and even my nails shiny.”

Students from the Clothing Culture Laboratory of the School of Human Environmental Sciences ran a hands-on booth where they reused old clothes collected on campus to make small items. Participants decorated sleeves of old clothes into cylindrical shapes with ribbons and beads to make their own original PET bottle cases. A mother accompanying her second-grade girl said, "This was my first time participating in the event, and it was a good opportunity for me to interact with the students.

 

In the exhibition, each department presented their daily studies, such as the development process of "innerwear for Gen Z girls" by the Department of Business Administration, a full-scale paper tube tea house and drawings by the Department of Architecture, and a demonstration garden model integrating plants and architecture, as well as the "Brown Rice Volunteers" promoting UN-WFP activities through the dissemination of brown rice, and "La chouette*," a student public relations staff member. There were also exhibits by student volunteers, including the "Brown Rice Volunteers," who promote the activities of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) through the dissemination of brown rice, and the "La chouette*" student public relations staff's "Women's Initiatives to Shine. The Brown Rice Volunteers also engaged in fundraising activities to raise support for the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and the war-torn Ukraine.

 

In addition, the Hirai Seminar of the Department of Informatics and Mediology held a soap-making workshop using honey from Hyogo Prefecture. The Enami Seminar set up an exhibition booth in conjunction with an escape game.
