＜日本語/English＞「日経SDGsフェス大阪関西」のトークセッションに本学情報メディア学科の福井哲夫教授と國仙紗也香さん（3年）が登壇しました。

 　「日経SDGsフェス大阪関西」のトークセッション「学びのちから」が2月16日開かれ、日本経済新聞社とダイワボウ情報システムが「10年後の未来を見据えICTを活用した教育を考える」をテーマに昨年開催した「日経STEAMゼミ」に参加した、武庫川女子大学情報メディア学科の福井哲夫教授とゼミ生で同学科3年の國仙紗也香さんが登壇しました。

 

　トークセッションには福井教授、國仙さん、全国各地の教育現場で教育ICTを推進しているダイワボウ情報システムの岡本哲也・戦略ビジネス推進部副部長が登壇し、「ICTが1人1人の学生の創造的な思考や考え方を育む～誰もが、いつでもどこからでも、誰とでも、自分らしく学べる社会の実現に向けて～」をテーマに、日経BP総合研究所上席研究員の大塚葉さんの司会で進められました。

 

　まず、ダイワボウ情報システムの岡本副部長がSTEAMゼミの趣旨について、「弊社がSTEAMゼミに参画したのは、ICTを介して多様な能力を育成できる環境とはどのようなものか、学生の皆さんと未来の学びをともに考えながら、その可能性を探るためです」とSTEAMゼミの趣旨を述べました。

 

　國仙さんは、同じ学科の尾関ゼミ（尾関基行准教授）と共同で「おふくもちチーム」を結成してSTEAMゼミに参加しました。

　福井教授のゼミでグラフ作成ツール「MathTOUCHグラフ」による高校数学向け学習教材の研究開発を行っている國仙さんは、ICT、AIを用いて子どもたちが授業で積極的に発言しやすい環境（教室）をつくり出すアプリ「こんぱす」の提案内容を紹介しました。

 

　STEAMゼミに参加した成果や気づきについて、「コロナ禍の学生生活で、何か一つでも頑張ったと言える経験を作りたくて参加した。STEAMゼミでは、STEAM教育、国やOECDの教育方針など教育環境の変化に意識を向けて、深く考えることができた」と振り返りました。

 

　福井教授は、人にやさしいコンピュータとの対話技術を研究テーマにしており、ゼミのプロジェクト「ITによりSTEAM教育を支援」の内容について説明し、さらに、ゼミの取り組みとして、学生に学外の社会人たちとのコミュニケーションを取ることの大切さを知ってもらうため、学会や研究会、フォーラムなど学外発表の場へ積極的に参加していることを紹介しました。

　STEAMゼミの成果については、「大学と企業での評価の基準の違いを学ぶことができ、参加した学生は、社会人になって自分に何が求められるのか、意識することができたと思う」と述べました。

　さらに教育ICTの今後の展望について、「SDGsの理念である『誰一人取り残さない』を実現するために、ICT技術を理解して広めていける人材を育てていきたい」と抱負を述べました。

Professor Tetsuo Fukui of the University's Department of Information Media and Sayaka Kokusen participated in a talk session at the Nikkei SDGs Fest Osaka Kansai.

 

Professor Tetsuo Fukui of Mukogawa Women's University's Department of Informatics and Mediology, and Sayaka Kokusen, a third-year student of the same department, participated in the "Nikkei STEAM Seminar" held last year by Nikkei Inc. and Daiwabo Information System under the theme "Thinking about future education utilizing ICT in 10 years’ time".

 

Professor Fukui, Ms. Kokusen, and Tetsuya Okamoto, Deputy General Manager of Strategic Business Promotion Department of Daiwabo Information System, which is promoting educational ICT in educational settings nationwide, took the podium for the talk session, which was moderated by Ms. Yoh Otsuka, Senior Researcher at Nikkei BP Research Institute, on the theme "ICT fosters creative thinking and thinking in each and every student - Toward the realization of a society where anyone, anywhere, anytime, with anyone, can learn as he/she wishes," moderated by Ms. Yoh Otsuka, Senior Researcher, Nikkei Business Publications, Inc.

 

Ms. Kokusen participated in the STEAM seminar by forming the "Ofukumochi Team" in collaboration with Associate Professor Motoyuki Ozeki's seminar in the same department. Ms. Kokusen, who has been conducting research and development of learning materials for high school mathematics using the graphing tool "MathTOUCH Graph" in Professor Fukui's seminar, introduced her proposal for "Kompas", an application that uses ICT and AI to create an environment (classroom) where children can speak up and be active in class.

 

Professor Fukui, whose research theme is human-friendly computer interaction technology, explained the seminar's project "Supporting STEAM Education with IT." He also introduced the seminar's efforts to actively participate in external presentations at conferences, research meetings, and forums to let students know the importance of communicating with people from outside the university.

 

Regarding the results of the STEAM seminar, he stated, "I think the students who participated were able to learn about the differences in evaluation standards between universities and companies, and became aware of what is expected of them as members of society.

 

　For the future prospects of ICT in education, he expressed his aspirations, "I would like to nurture human resources who can understand and spread ICT technology to realize the SDGs philosophy of 'leave no one behind.’”
