建築を学ぶ兵庫県内の学生が住宅の設計課題の成果を発表する「大学連携住宅設計課題合同講評会」が3月19日、神戸サンボーホール大展示場で開催されました。兵庫県内の建築系コースのある5大学の2年生を中心に54人が参加。5大学の教員が合同でレビューし、本学生活環境学部生活環境学科から、岡田真奈さんが最優秀賞に選ばれたのをはじめ、6人が受賞しました(いずれも建築デザインコース2年生=当時)。前野ふらのさんは優秀賞と志柿賞をダブル受賞しました。受賞者は下記のとおり。

指導した生活環境学科の岩田章吾教授は、建築コースの教育方針について「各学生のvisionを活かしながら生活者の立場で住まいを丁寧に考えること」とし、「受賞は各学生の才能と努力のたまものですが、私達の教育方針が作品に良い影響を与えたのであれば存外の喜びです」と話しています。
Six second-year students in the architecture course of the Department of Human Environmental Sciences won awards at the Joint Critique of University Collaboration Housing Design Proposals.
The "Joint Critique of University Collaboration Housing Design Assignments" was held on March 19 at the Kobe Sambow Hall Main Exhibition Hall, where students in Hyogo Prefecture studying architecture presented the results of their housing design assignments. Fifty-four students, mostly in second-years from five universities with architecture courses in Hyogo Prefecture, attended the event.
Faculty members from five universities jointly reviewed the entries, and six students from the Department of Human Environmental Sciences received awards, including the Grand Prize to Ms. Okada. Ms. Maeno won both the Excellence Award and the Shikaki Award.

Professor Shogo Iwata of the Department of Human Environmental Sciences, who supervised the students, said that the educational policy of the architecture course is "to carefully consider housing from the viewpoint of consumers while harnessing the vision of each student," and that "the award is the result of the talent and efforts of each individual, but it would be an absolute pleasure if our educational policy had a positive impact on their work as well."
