The Annual General Meeting of the Education Supporters' Association was held on 3rd of March at the Koe Memorial Auditorium on the Main Campus, attended by about 190 councilors representing parents and others.
The Education Supporters' Association is organized by parents and others and carries out various support projects to help students lead a meaningful student life in a better environment. It also organizes regional educational roundtables at five locations in four branches and the central campus.
At the regular general meeting on this day, the previous year's business report, financial report and audit report were presented, and new officers were elected. The business plan and budget plan for 2023 were discussed and approved.
In his address, President Kazuyoshi Seguchi expressed his gratitude for the daily support and introduced the recent situation on campus. In principle, classes are held face-to-face, and students are actively involved in club activities, off-campus practical training and volunteer activities. Study abroad at the US branch school also resumed last autumn. As we are gradually returning to the pre-Corona situation, we would like to further ensure the quality of education and promote both education and research'.
