バスケットボール部が関西女子学生バスケットボールリーグ戦で準優勝しました。

「2024年度 全関西大学女子バスケットボールリーグ戦1部リーグ」で、本学バスケットボール部が準優勝しました。

 

同リーグは9月7日から11月2日にわたって開催され、今年度は1部10チームが総当たりする1巡目の戦いを7勝2敗の2位で通過した後、1巡目4位までが参加する上位リーグを2勝1敗と、最終9勝3敗の成績で2年連続の準優勝となりました。

 

個人賞には得点王とリバウンド王の2冠を達成したウィドゼイ・フェイボー・オニニェ選手（健康・スポーツ科学科2年＝写真中央＝）、アシスト王には高橋楓選手（健康・スポーツ科学科3年＝写真左＝）、優秀選手賞には主将の幕凪沙選手（健康・スポーツ科学科4年＝写真右＝）が、それぞれ選出されました。

 

リーグ戦の結果から、11月29日に開幕する全日本大学バスケットボール選手権大会（インカレ）は16シードからの参戦になります。インカレの組み合わせ抽選会は11月9日に行われます。

The University's basketball team placed second in the “2024 All-Kansai University Women's Basketball League Division 1 League.

 

The league was held from September 7 to November 2, and this year's team finished in second place with a 7-2 record in the first round of competition among the 10 teams in Division 1, followed by a 2-1 record in the upper division league, in which the fourth-place teams in the first round participated.

 

The individual awards went to Nwaedozi Favour Onyiny (2nd year, Health and Sports Science Department = center photo) for leading scorer and rebounder, Kaede Takahashi (3rd year, Health and Sports Science Department = left photo) for leading assists, and Nagisa Makuhari (4th year, Health and Sports Science Department = right photo) for leading player of the year. The league results showed that the team won the league championships by a score of 11-29 points.

 

Based on the league results, the team will be seeded 16th in the All-Japan University Basketball Championship (Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament), which will start on November 29. The draw for the intercollegiate tournament will be held on November 9.
