経営学部の学生が芦屋市長に「カーボンニュートラルをかわいく発信するプロジェクト」の報告会を実施しました。

経営学部の実践学習で、学生たちがカーボンニュートラルへの意識を高めるプロジェクトに取り組み、1月15日、髙島崚輔市長にプレゼンテーションしました。

 

テーマは「カーボンニュートラルをかわいく発信する！」。芦屋市では2050年までにCO2などの温室効果ガスの排出量を実質ゼロにすることを表明していますが、市民に環境問題を自分ごとと感じてもらうことが課題でした。そこで包括連携協定を結ぶ本学に「学生目線で発信方法を考えて」と呼び掛け、昨年9月からプロジェクトをスタートしました。

 

学生たちは国の取り組みや脱炭素に対する意識調査、企業の取り組みなどからカーボンニュートラルについて学び、Ａ、Ｂの２チームに分かれてアイデアをまとめました。

 

15日は学生6人が芦屋市役所を訪れ、チームごとにプレゼンテーションしました。髙島市長は「環境問題は市民一人ひとりが関心を持って行動を変えないと進まない。自由な発想を期待しています」と明るく呼び掛け、学生たちの緊張をほぐしました。

 

Ａチームは服の廃棄量の削減に注目しました。「古着」と「着回し」のどちらが「取り組みやすいか」を学内でオンラインと対面でアンケート。着回しの方が関心が高かったことから「着回しを提案することで少ない服を大切に使う意識が高まる」と結論づけました。

 

Ｂチームはマイボトルとマイバックの持参率を学内アンケート。いずれも7割前後が「持参」していることから、生活の一部にエコ活動を取り入れる仕組みづくりを提案しました。

 

髙島市長は「私も着なくなった私服がいっぱいある」「思っている以上にマイバックマイボトルを持参している人が多くてびっくりした」など、提案一つ一つに丁寧にコメント。「すぐできる提案」として、「市長の着回し動画」を挙げ、「みんながコーディネートしてくれるならやりたい」と意欲を示し、今後の提案の実現に向けて、積極的に協力することを学生たちに伝えました。学生たちは「提案に興味を持ってくれてうれしい。市長はスーツのイメージが強いので、ジーパンとかラフな感じで季節ごとのコーデを考えたいです」と話していました。

 

報告会では、学生４人が芦屋市カーボンニュートラル推進サポーター※に認定され、市長から認定証を受け取りました。

On January 15th, students from the business school presented their project aimed at raising awareness of carbon neutrality to Mayor Ryosuke Takashima. This initiative was part of the school's Project Based Learning program.

 

The theme of the project was "Effectively Communicating Carbon Neutrality." While the city of Ashiya has pledged to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, there was a challenge in making environmental issues feel personal to citizens. To address this, the University, which has a comprehensive partnership agreement with the city, was asked to "think about how students can disseminate information."

 

On the 15th, six students visited Ashiya City Hall to present their proposals. Mayor Takashima eased the students' tension by saying, "Environmental issues cannot progress unless each citizen is concerned and takes action. I'm looking forward to your creative ideas."

 

Mayor Takashima commented thoughtfully on each proposal, sharing personal anecdotes like having a closet full of unworn clothes and being surprised by the high rate of reusable bottle and bag usage. He suggested a "mayor's outfit coordination video" as a practical idea and expressed enthusiasm for participating if the students were willing to create different looks for him. The students were delighted by the mayor's interest and expressed their desire to help him create casual outfits for different seasons.

 

At the presentation, four students were certified as Ashiya City Carbon Neutral Promotion Supporters and received certificates from the mayor.
