社会情報学科 大森ゼミの学生が近畿経済産業局主催「知財ビジネスアイデアコンテスト」で最優秀賞を受賞しました

情報メディア学科（現：社会情報学科）大森ゼミ3年の表西芽生さん、吉田咲葵さん、内野加奈子さんが、経済産業局主催「令和6年度 知財学生ビジネスアイデアコンテスト」パテント部門で最優秀賞にあたる近畿経済産業局長賞を受賞しました。

 

社会課題解決をテーマとした本コンテストは、ビジネスにおける知的財産の重要性の周知と地域の産学連携の活性化を目的に毎年開催されており、今年度で7回目の開催となります。

 

今回のコンテストには全国の大学から17大学38チームが参加しました。第一次審査を通過した7大学11チームによる最終審査会が2025年1月25日に大阪市で行われました。

 

表西さんたちは、パテント部門に参加し、自分たちの推し活で痛感していた本人確認システム時の不正行為や高額チケット転売などエンタメに係る社会課題を2件の開放特許を組み合わせた情報技術で解決するビジネスを提案しました。

 

ビジネスプラン作成にあたっては、知財所有者や関連省庁とやりとりをして、知財や当該技術への理解を深めるとともに、ライブの警備を担当している会社や興行会社の団体などにも聴き取りを行いました。審査員からの講評では、知財の観点からも魅力のあるビジネス提案であり、自分事としてビジネスを考えている熱量が伝わってきたと高く評価されました。授賞式で表西さんは「推し活よりも、就活！と普段、先生から言われているのですが、推し活のエネルギーを注いだプランで素晴らしい賞を受賞できて、とてもうれしいです」とスピーチしました。

 

大森ゼミからは岡田璃音さん、安實日和さん、白江まほろさんのチームも参加しました。ショッピングモールのフードコートなど身近な飲食スペースでの座席情報を、子育て世代のニーズにあわせて駐車場情報と組み合わせて提供するビジネスアイデアを提案し、審査員特別賞を受賞しました。

 

Students in the Department of Informatics and Mediology (Department of Social Informatics) at Mukogawa Women’s University, won the prestigious Kinki Regional Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry Award in the patent category of the "Reiwa 6, Intellectual Property Student Business Idea Contest" hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

 

Held annually since its inception seven years ago, this contest aims to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property in business and to stimulate industry-academia collaboration in the region. The theme of this year's contest was solving social issues.

 

A total of 38 teams from 17 universities nationwide participated in the contest. Eleven teams from seven universities that passed the first screening advanced to the final round, which was held in Osaka on January 25, 2025.

 

Ms. Mei Omonishi and her team participated in the patent category and proposed a business that solves two social problems related to entertainment, such as fraudulent activities during identity verification and the resale of high-priced tickets, which they had personally experienced as fans. They proposed a solution using information technology by combining two open patents.

 

In the process of creating the business plan, the team deepened their understanding of intellectual property and relevant technologies by communicating with intellectual property owners and related government agencies. They also conducted interviews with companies responsible for events security and organizations representing entertainment companies. The judges highly praised the business proposal, stating that it was attractive from an intellectual property perspective and that the team's passion for the business was evident.
