第5回「国際女性デーMUKOJOフォーラム」が開催されました。

第5回「国際女性デーMUKOJOフォーラム」（女性活躍総合研究所主催）が3月8日、中央キャンパス公江記念館大講義室で開催されました。

第1部では、本学の郡千寿子先生（副学長・文学研究科長・文学部長）が「日本語の歴史から見た女性活躍」と題して、基調講演を行いました。

前半では、自身の過去の経験と学びについて「志望大学に入れなかったことや、失職など予想外の苦難も経験しましたが、そういった経験があったからこそ、新たな道が開け、人間として成長できた。聴衆の皆さん、特に女性たちの励みになれば」と語りました。

後半では専門の研究である言語学、日本語学の観点から、日本語の文字（漢字、カタカナ、ひらがな）についての成り立ちや、漢字（男性文字）とひらがな（女性文字）が融合し、それぞれの働きを生かしあっている日本語表記体系は理想的な形であることを現代の男女共同参画時代と重ねて語りました。

 

第2部では、「つかみたい未来―わたし（たち）のキャリアデザイン―」をテーマに募集したエッセイの中から、入賞者3人が登壇。スピーチで最終審査に臨み、最優秀賞に大学院 日本語日本文学専攻の白木由美香さんが選ばれました。

受賞者と作品タイトルは次のとおり。

 

奈良女子大学　文学部　田邊　瑶子さん（優秀賞）　「低め安定、あるいは低空飛行。もしかすると、一寸先の未来図。」

武庫川女子大学附属中学校　岩浅　乃唯さん（優秀賞）「私の道」

武庫川女子大学大学院　文学研究科日本語日本文学専攻　白木　由美香さん（最優秀賞）「エンプティ・ネスタ―のキャリアデザイン」

The 5th "International Women's Day MUKOJO Forum" (organized by the Research Institute for Women's Career Advancement and Gender Equality Development) was held on March 8th at the Koe Memorial Hall on the Central Campus.

 

In Part 1, Professor Chizuko Kori (Vice President, Dean of the Graduate School of Literature, and Dean of the School of Letters) of Mukogawa Women's University gave a keynote speech titled "Women's Advancement from the Perspective of Japanese Language History."

 

In the first half of her speech, she shared her past experiences and lessons learned, saying, "I experienced unexpected hardships such as not getting into my desired university and losing my job, but it was because of those experiences that new paths opened up and I was able to grow as a person. I hope this will encourage the listeners, especially women."

 

In the second half, from the perspective of her specialized research in linguistics and Japanese language studies, she discussed the origins of Japanese characters (kanji, katakana, hiragana) and explained how the Japanese writing system, which combines kanji (male characters) and hiragana (female characters) and utilizes their respective functions, is an ideal form, drawing parallels with the modern era of gender equality.

 

In Part 2, three award winners from the essay contest themed "The Future I Want to Seize: My (Our) Career Design" gave speeches for the final judging. Yumika Shiraki from the Graduate School of Japanese Language and Literature was selected for the Grand Prize.
